I have that shifter set in my PE stash. Or one just like it from Chris S. I also have the PE shifter set with the white shifter knobs. I'll tell you what, that thing is intimidating. I have a project in mind for it should i live so long, it's way down the road.

I'll keep cracking at it.

You'll have to send me a picture of that shifter with the white shifter knobs. I haven't heard of any shifters from Chris S. Gonna have to check that one out. :hmm:

Chris S is Future attraction which is the Liberty shifter you installed into your Maverick. Detail Master makes the Hurst shifters.

I'll be back on this in the next day or so. I got some eBay setbacks and my mood was changed as a result. I've resolved those and am on the right track so I'll be getting back after this one.

I have the throttle linkage to my satisfaction. Now to deal with the interior and button up a few more pieces before I can get this project back underway.

Nice work. I cannot imagine how you guys get hands to do this...mine seem to be getting stiffer. put that on the test stand, and FTPU!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

There was a guy a few years ago on MCM that asked if I was a surgeon with hands to do this work. I'll show a pic here of a scratchbuilt barrel valve and injection for a top fuel dragster. It's not easy but to my mind it's worth the effort and it's relaxing [most of the time].
