Revell Land Rover Series III LWB In Progress

Post by keavdog »

Been working on this one off and on for a bit. Really nice kit - lots of parts and options
First attempt with Revell paints - pretty happy so far

Not super detailing/wiring, but spending a bit of time Alclading (is that a word?)

Had some pretty big orange peal in the back floor board, but it won't be seen so moving on. Making good progress now

Thanks,
John

Neat project. Nicole progress, too.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I keep thinking of the zebra striped jeeps and land rovers that used to be on the old TV show Daktari when I see this kit.

Nice finishes and cleanly executed. I got one for the stash coming based on this build. Cannot wait to open it.
Now that we know that.... What have we learned?...

I think I saw this kit at my local Hobby lobby. Funny, it had no shrink wrap on it and I am assuming it was a return. I should head back and demand a discount on it since shrink wrap is non-existent but sides were taped. :hmm:
