Looks sharp. I only have the newer crap that doesn't stick... sure hope they get that fixed.
Coming along now. This is going to be one killer build!
Thanks,
John

Thanks fellas. Yeah I've still got about a third of the original sheet that I purchased over 7 years ago and it seems to adhere pretty well.

I moved on to the fire wall which I had a definite problem with. I have the floor mats installed in the floor of the interior but will need to slip the interior tub up into the body when I get to that part ....someday. lol

The problem with that is that I would've had to figure out how to get the floor mats on top of the foot boards of the interior. as well as to slip the body around the firewall "wings".

Check it out:

I decided to see if I could approach it from another angle by installing the firewall onto the front of the interior tub and slipping the whole thing up inside the body in the final assembly stage. The problem with that is that I would have to stretch the body around the firewall "wings" I was talking about. NOT something I care to do.

Image

So I merely cut these off. I'll come back to this later when I have the body installed and figure something out for some covering on the outside of the firewall.

and here we are with the engine installed onto the chassis. Gonna run some brake lines from the master cylinder, a vacuum line from the brake booster to the back of the carburetor base plate & install the fan and we'll be pretty much done with this part.

Someday, when I grow up.....someday. Maybe. Naw, ain’t going to happen. Wow, that looks good!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
