Why? I have no earthly idea, but it was calling to me. . . .and there are no windows to mask.
Working on the first couple of steps which are the under-trailer suspension, axels, etc. The plastic seems fairly soft, soapy (?), if you will. There is also a bit of warpedness to some of the pieces.
I am still leaning towards a polished aluminum trailer box, but am open to other ideas and suggestions.
Here we go,
Gotta love the instructions...no numbers.
And that is it so far. Probably be another update in a bit. Getting the basement stair treads replaced as part of what all we are doing to the house. They got left off the original quote through miscommunication, but finally got the owner of the company out today. He sent two of his ESL guys our right away. They did the doors earlier this month. So, fun all around.

More whilst watching the Amigos do their thing.
Still the axle and suspension. One piece, a chromed arm, was broken and I had to go looking in the box for it,.. moved a bit when glued back, so that air chamber is a bit off.

No numbers? Well, ya gotta go visual. Just don’t glue the parts backwards.

Looking pretty good so far! Most AMT kits from my (limited) experience has soft plastic.

Funny you should mention that...BlackSheep214 wrote:No numbers? Well, ya gotta go visual. Just don’t glue the parts backwards.
But it didn’t matter!

I would love to see all your automotive models. Do you do a lot of them?

Not really. Two built, Herbie (VW) and the Ford P/U used in HGTV shows. . . that one was a wife request.
The Impala is stalled, so to speak...
I have probably 10 other car/truck/jeep/semi kits...

WRASSLIN'
More like trying to herd cats...This baby is about 17" long, that is a 12" ruler laying on it. Then there will be the truck itself...anyway...
Read a review on how easy it was to assemble and all that. Pppffffffffttttttttttttttttttt...liar, liar. on this part anyway.
One side on, other side tacked in a couple of places.

Build half a million more of those and you’ll have the LA harbor backlog …
