Ok.....Here is the tire/ wheel assy with the tools used to remove the lettering. BFG decals in place and they have their first coats of Micro Sol applied which will explain the slight wrinkling of the decals at this point. No worries as they'll all smooth out and then it'll be off to a dull coat application over the sidewalls.

It's more of a "Cragar thing" John. This is the first time I've ever seen a classic wheel that looks the way these do as there are subtle differences, but I like the look.

Well done, Joe!

Thanks Lyle!!
I got some bonus bench time today as my son and I were in the hobby room together with him at his Lego bench and me at mine. He got a big classic Lego set from over a decade ago and was building on it while I was working on the Camaro. I'll post pics of both of us tomorrow but had this one of my progress. Made up for a LOT of missed time. No bench time for me in the morning.....errr....in the next few hours as it's almost 1 am now.

All four tires ready for the dull coat now......

My son and I last night a few minutes before 1 am. He had just gotten the Republic Gunship Lego set and was putting that together and invited me to build models with him as a father and son gig. I think we started somewhere around 9 and spent the next 4 hours together. Great time we'll both remember that one for a loooooong time.

Cute little feller. Looks like pop! You two make a handsome pair.
