Bikes on a shelf

Post by Dragline »

I like to build the occasional motorcycle. This shelf was above my beds end table. I usually put the watch Du jour there, and my wallet and keys. That's Mum's and Dad there on their wedding day 1962.

We have a Yamaha TZ 250M racing bike. A Honda CR 450R dirt bike and a Honda Trail 70. I'm an H-D guy but find these Asian bike kits to be fun builds. I have several H-D kits in the stash but can never decide to build them as bobbers/choppers or stock. Perhaps one day I'll get to one.

Nice! I do bikes on occasion as well and have the trail 70 in the stash. Never done a dirt bike, I only have motogp stuff in the stash. They are fun to build.
Thanks,
John

I like the scooter and the dirt bike quite a bit. The crotch rocket for future organ donors aren’t my cup of tea. Although you made it look as good as the other two. Very nice trio there! :shoutout:

Lovely work! Way out of mf any zone I might have.

Very nice! I've never tried a bike.

I haven't done a motorcycle kit in decades. I've done 3 in my younger years. Not for the faint at heart tackling motorcycle kits - especially with those delicate fiddly parts.

I'd love to do another motocross bike kit again.
