That looks great, and brings back some great memories as well! I learned to drive out on the farm, around 7 years old, on our 1946 Chevrolet pickup (same as the '42 models), and a few years later Dad bought a Ford, probably a '50 model, maybe a '51. There followed a succession of old trucks, mostly Chevys, until he finally bought a '73 Datsun.

The '46 Chevy had several cool features like a crank-out windshield, a small cowl vent that opened with a under-dash lever, a floor switch starter and a floor shifter. I remember standing up to push in the clutch pedal that came up from the floor too. When the next truck had a column-mounted shifter, it really screwed me up until I figured out what Mom and Dad kept saying, "It still the same, just in a different place"...

I enjoyed the truck model! Thanks for the memories too. :shoutout:

That is SO cool.

I know Lyle already said that, but it's what I wanted to say too and I'm sticking with it.

Love old pick-me-ups, this one is unique for sure.

I love the modelers imagination. We just see something, and the mind starts going to work. Great build and especially good considering it's such an old kit.
