This looks so much better that the originals! Great work on a tiny subject.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yeah, sometimes doing it yourself makes it all worthwhile. Some Hot Wheels paint / color design are “ehhhh....” or downright ugly and wrong.

Very cool! I never would have thought of refinishing Hot Wheels cars... but why not?

Oh yeah, I love it! That is a most interesting job!

I worked at Pegasus Hobbies where several guys used to modify many Hot Wheels and re-paint them into all manner of wild and crazy schemes. They would stretch some of the buses and do all kinds of wild things. It was always stunning what they did. A Mattel rep came in and saw some of these wild designs and took pics to offer to the design teams for possible ideas for future cars.
