I’m just waiting for the day those ricers with slanted outward tires give out on them and fall off. They look dangerous enough to hydroplane on dry surface.

The other idiotic thing I see is those SUVs or late model Lincolns and Cadillacs with giant rims with narrow tires on them. They’re the most ridiculous thing I ever saw on the highway.

I hear you. SUVs are the best selling cars here in Germany. In the cities it's so hard to find a place to park, but the braindeads keep buying bigger and bigger cars. Or should I call them tanks? And damn, are they ugly. My boss drives a BMW X5, that monster looks like a half-breed between a truck and a 20' container. :stinky:

And don't get me started on how they pull up beside you in a turn and completely block your view of oncoming traffic when they can just as easily stay behind a bit and still see what's coming for miles........................... :scream:

As the former owner of a 71 Barracuda, mine had a built 318, I can tell you there is nothing like it. And I want to go back in time to the day I got rid of it had slap myself.

When I found out my dad once owned a 4 door '57 Chevy Bel Air, I asked what happened to it. He sold it. I coulda slapped his upside after I told him he should have held on to it. I guess back then, nobody knew it was going to be a classic and desired automobile. :headslap:

The Bel Air was probably a dime a dozen back then... a very common car.

One of the things I love about this forum is seeing all these awesome American muscle cars being built - you just don't see these sort of cars over here.

This is a cracking built - looks perfect.
