BlackSheep214 "69 GTO Judge

The '69 GTO is one of the most iconic true muscle cars of its day. Who doesn't love a GTO Judge?

A bit if side note on the GTO rims. I dipped them in bleach to remove the chrome and tried using Model Master Metallizer lacquers of Aluminum Non Buff, and Dark Andonic Grey. I wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out hand brushing it. The aluminum was fine... sort of. The Dark Andonic Grey was not. It looked almost the same shade as the Aluminum no matter how many coats I used (I stopped after 3) . I know Metallizer lacquers are best used with an airbrush. Anyway, I decided to test by mixing my own colors. For the aluminum, I mixed Model Master Aluminum, Insignia White and Chrome Silver. The Andonic Grey I used Steel, German Silver and I believe a touch of grey or black - I forget now. I am really happy with how it turned out. So enough with the yammering... All Rise for The Judge!!

Thank you, Lyle.

Well crap!! I just noticed I forgot to paint the door handles. :headbang: :bag: I get to it later but my eyes are too tired now to try. I'd rather do it when I'm more alert to concentrate.
