I’ll take your word for that. I’m currently enjoying the hot weather here. Afternoons are great model time in the AC work area.

I hear ya. I melt in places like Charleston SC, or Alamo, NM, Phoenix, AZ. :sad: Up here in the Great White North, below the 49th parallel, I enjoy the minus 18-20* come winter time and the snowwwwwwwww :grin:

Well, I somehow managed to view SteveSki's threads. Incredible painting! I've been spying on a few I really want to get. But even if i do end up getting them, I'll get cold feet in painting them. I really suck at it. :bag:

Naaaah, you know what they say, "It ain't gonna get done lookin at em." Go for it, it'll be fun, stretch the comfort level just a bit, I say.

Hmm... maybe I'll start off on a cheap priced figure to begin with - something I don't care about if I mess up or not.

I really don't know the basics aside from black primer. Mainly flesh tones, shadows, etc... I may have to watch youtube videos or read how-to books.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that the patterns on those socks were hand painted. That's frickin' CRAZY cool work on that Steve!! GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
