Anime Girl/Robotish Thingy

Post by Dragline »

Not sure what this kit is from or what show or movie she appeared in. I liked the look and the price was right.

She is shall we say....Ample in the melons dept. But a cool look and at the time was waaaay out of my comfort zone. But I like to try new things. I must have watched 6 hours of eye painting videos before I tackled them. Now I learn there are decals you can buy and slap on there. Live and learn.

Man that's really nice! Don't know what anime that's from either.

I know those anime kits are big in Japan. Not too often you see them in LHS.

I bought this on eBay for the paltry sum of 9.99 plus shipping.

And it is resin and weighs a metric ton. Either the guy lost his shirt or made 10 bucks on it,

They go for way more usually. I was in the right place at the right moment.

Some of the shops in CA carry lots of anime stuff due to a huge anime fan base. And in some of the Asian shopping areas/malls, there are shops that specialize in such kits. Bandai rules the roost there.

You have done a excellent job on this! I love the skin tone and the way the hair blends from green to blue is outstanding. Your work is amazing and inspiring.
