That is a very good looking tank all in all!

Had forgot it is 1/72 scale, looks more as a 1/35 ..

It is a handsome design... in its own menacing way. And the detail on this kit is worthy of a 35th scale build.

Brilliant work Carlos, and thanks for the memories. You've done an amazing job so far. And now you know why I always enjoyed building the Dragon kits. Now that you've done this, you should try a Modelcollect Russian-made challenger to the Challenger. Talk about detail!

Another crazy idea of this doesn't fit in your collection: build and paint up a 1/35th scale soldier holding a remote controller and put it on a base like he's taking it out for a spin.... :giggles: :lashed:

This will be like my 1/48 Panther from that AMPS GB... another one off for the collection. I’m happy to hear that you’re enjoying watching this build. But I will pass on your offer of other 72nd scale kits. I have far too many kits in my stash in my preferred scales waiting to be built....

So no major update for today- just a simple airbrush session to complete the black basing...

I let my inner maddog out... yup, our own Duke Maddog turned me on to Silly Putty as a masking agent. This little guy used one whole “egg” to mask up. I guess that I need another or two...

and on the suggestion of Bish at FSM, I went with Tamiya NATO Green. Seeing how he is a British Army veteran, I’ll take his advice....

I’ll get more photos up after the masking is removed...

Stuart, I do agree. Most British tank designs at least had some visual appeal.

So here is my Chally 2 with the masking off....
