OWL's Oldies!

Post by CallSignOWL »

According to my record-book, i've gotten over 150 completed builds! Whoo-Hoooo!

Ive been building since 2005, but it was just ripping off pieces and slappin' em together!

Here are the only photos from that era---a Revell/monogram B-17 and F4U Corsair, and a big RF-4 Phantom!

My first foray into competent scale modeling was during my first year of college in 2009 -- Monograms' MiG-29 Fulcrum, in 1/48 scale. This was the first kit were I actually detailed the cockpit, filled and sanded seams, rescribed...and I even added a PE and resin detail set! Airbrushed with my handy-dandy Paashe-H, and MM Acrylics.

With finished pics, from before I knew about photo set-ups! :giggles:

Then I took it outside and tried to make it look REAL!

I would hope that I've improved since then....

Oh noes. Photos not found.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
