OWL's British Airpower

Post by CallSignOWL »

an old kit from Airfix/MPC, this is a 1/72 scale Harrier GR.3, which I added more of a cockpit to. I built this in 2011, and handpainted with my Testors enamels. The new Airfix releases Ive seen certainly blow this kit out of the water!!

also an old 1/72 scale Airfix kit, I built this deHavilland Mosquito F.B. VI in 2014, only giving it basic cockpit detail and spraying with rattle-cans.

next is a Tornado GR.4/4A from Hasegawa (an older boxing) that I built last year. Airbrushed with MM Acrylics. Very cool plane. I have a few more in the stash.

some of you might remember my mismatched Beaufighter from Matchbox that I build earlier this year. I added an interior, and brushpainted it with markings for a torpedo bomber (with a spare wing, in homage to the multi color matchbox plastic) ;)

Hard to believe that the Mosquito wasn´t airbrushed! Spray can? Not bad... :guitar:

Nice little RAF Owl. :dogwag:

There's some Brilliant models in there Owl! Most are better than my renditions of the same thing. Well done!
