OWL's Friendly Skies

Post by CallSignOWL »

This category has more to do with misc. markings not sorted into more specific galleries. A hodge-podge of countries are represented...

Heller 1/72 Mirage-2000N, oob and airbrushed. Built back in 2010.

This is an old Hasegawa AJ-37 Vigge, built 2013. I decided to go crazy and add some modifications, such as re-working the wings, adding conformal fuel tanks, and scratchbuilding an interior. Then, I handpainted a "ferris" scheme and marked the plane as an F-37 "thunderstrike" :giggles:

Meng? Early Trumpeter? IDK, its a 1/72 F-5 Tiger. Built in sept 2014 ...The decal sheet was crud, so I sourced markings from my spares...TIGER MEET!! :kitty:

this BAC Jaguar from old airfix (1/72), recieved some more spare markings. This time from a Tornado sheet. Handbrushed, finished 2014.

Im sure yall recognize the crazy hornet I built this year!

I used the lackluster Kangnam f-18 as a base, and in 1/48, it sure draws in the attention! Cockpit sourced from a spare F-8, conformal tanks from a Ch-47, a tail from a Mig-21.....and a whole bunch of CRAZY!! :ggun:

I give you the F/A-188, "yellow jacket" !!

Still more great work Owl - you're a very imaginative and creative builder and this thread shows this well - great stuff!
