Mikey, that is the kind of modeling that makes my work look like toys. You are definitely in the top ten best modelers here right now with that model. Way to go man, you fit here like a glove!

Indeed! While still retaining 95% of the kit parts. Lol
I wanted to keep the kit as original as possible while adding more detail to what was already there. In that goal I believe I succeeded.

As you know, the canopy is functional as well. That was a neat trick lol.

Wow, that kind of detailing is beyond me man. You got some mad skills. I'd say you succeeded well in making this more detailed while still utilizing 95% of the kit. Mission accomplished!

Stunning kit indeed. That's one aircraft I've never done even as a kid back in the 70s and 80s. I need to get two - one of Pappy Boyington when he flew with the Flying Tigers and the other of Hickham Field where some managed to engage the Japanese during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
