Keeping Busy while Away: Builds in the Last Two Years

Post by dmminiatures »

Hi guys - There was almost a 2-year laps since I last posted my work. I kept myself busy and tried mostly things that would challenge me, techniques that were foreign or need improving. I have been playing a lot on weathering, figure painting, trying out materials for different terrains for vignettes. Here are some most of them I think - oldest to newest.

What a line-up! I remember your struggles with the Shitty Hawk kit, but luckily you're too brave and skilled to give up. Fantastic finish! Also the ship build was a whole new world for you. Again you mastered it on a high level. Your last build, the howitzer vignette, shows perfectly that your modeling home is where you lay your hat.

Again, I love your work!

What a fantastic batch of builds Monty! Truly excellent work all the way around! You jumped back in here with quite a splash!

Thanks Medic, Stik, and Speed.

Blacksheep. Despite building around 20 kits in the last two years, my stash has grown!! Yes I am still buying kits :whiteflag: .

I have almost emptied my modern stash armor and aircraft. few are left now. but the WW2 collection are still there waiting for the day. new purchases are more towards accessories, figures, resin upgrades and PEs. dio stuff included.

My goodness, that'sa lot of styrene. Very nice. Great assortment.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
