My 2 smallies

Post by KSaarni »

And here comes my two smallies that I want to present..

Fouga Magister FM170 - Heller 1:72
This small kit was truly a nice birdie to build. The plastic of the sprue was just perfect, not too hard, not too soft.. just perfect!
(I get annoyed working with plastic sprues that are hard like bakelite, when cutting them pieces fly in worst case in the eye etc..)
Pretty satisfied with the job, decals could have been of better quality.

Mig 21 F-13 - Academy 1:72
Also a nice and simple build. A very important piece of Finnish aviation history as when Finland bought these Mig-21:s, suddenly the country had "state of the art" fighter planes (this was in the early 60's).

Very, Very nice!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Outstanding work! I also built that Magister and I agree, it is one wonderful kit! One of the most fun to build for me. I also like the MiG 21, another one I've built before. I must have about 14 or so MiG 21's of various marks that I've completed in different markings. I love that old plane!

Keep up the excellent work!
