One of my first

Post by lawman56 »

Some of you may have seen this already, but thought I'd contribute to the new thread. It's my first 1/32 build in probably 30 years or more. I chose the Tamiya Spitfire Mk. IXc, in the markings of George Beurling, also known as the "Falcon of Malta". I titled it "Falcon At Rest".

Quite lovely! Looks spectacular in the sun - natural light is a good thing.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

For the first build in big scale after such a long break there could be worse kits than the Tamiya Spitfire. :)
Like said above, a spectacular sight. The base is like a well matching frame around a masterly painting.
When the sun of culture hangs low even dwarfs throw shadows.
