John was kind enough to send me a spare propeller. Thank you John!
Now I can get this completed.

Outstanding work on that carrier! I am so looking forward to seeing that at the Nationals!

Re: Modelcrazy's bench production 2021
Thanks you Mark,
My wife and I will be arriving Thursday night and I'll enter it and set it on the table Friday morning. I'm thinking of entering it as a vignette since it shows a specific period in time.
Here she is, complete except for a nameplate. I'll never really think it's done. I have day mares of someone knocking it off the shelf and it being destroyed. I guess I could make the Akagi wreck then.
Here are the pics.

Man that is fantastic work! All it needs is a pre dawn sky and a sound chip of idling motors!
Simply magnificent!

What he said times two.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I know, that would be the tops. Plus Jerry Goldsmith's main title music to Tora Tora ToraStikpusher wrote:Man that is fantastic work! All it needs is a pre dawn sky and a sound chip of idling motors!

Stunning pics. I hear ya on the "day mares". I'd be a total nervous wreck worrying what moron, fellow entrsnt, or judge absentmindedly snap off a ladder, sailor, or what not. Even worse, a visitor bumping into the table.
Get a wall side table for a piece of mind. Sorry for instilling more anxiety.

This is incredible! I have enjoyed watching this come together I just wish I could see it in person.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won

Re: Modelcrazy's bench production 2021
Thanks Black Sheep and Floki.
There's just so much to it that sometimes I forgot what I did.
Now, since Red Castle is safely put away for the time being (Bruce, I'll get those pics with more poster board behind it)I went back to the Helldiver. I applied some of the new decals but had problems with the fuse stripe. One half went on well while the other fell apart, even to the point where I had a drop of water on my finger, touched the decal and drew back pieces of the decal in the shape of my fingerprint. I thought about touching it up but deiced to just paint it on instead. Red and white Blaaa! I also have the first of three colors on the prop.

It's absolutely incredible work! The level of detail that you did is insane! It was truly awesome to watch you build it.
