As far as floatplanes I have a Walrus, Sunderland and Seamew. I would love to get that big 72nd scale Hase Emily

Well everything was going splendidly with this build but I lost the nose gear. So I went with wheels up and I must say, I like it wheels up. Of course as soon as I finished and was cleaning the workbench... I found the nose gear.

Here she is, the Modelsvit 1/72 Mirage III EA loaded with the Mantra R550 short range air to air on the outer racks and centerline Mantra R530 short to medium air to air missiles. While the Elevons are down so I guess it's about to land :hmm: ?

Looks fantastic! I do like wheels up on occasion - I do some airliners that way
Thanks,

Looks real nice, Steve. With the elevons in that position it would have a pretty strong nose down pitch going. They would be up about that amount for landing.

That’s a real beautiful Mirage Steve! :shoutout: A much nicer kit than the old 1/48 ESCI kit that I built several years ago.

Thanks guys, it was as super fun build up until the point where I lost the nose gear. I looked and looked for a few days then decided to modify it to in flight mode. That wasn't fun but it worked out.
John, yeah, no changing it now. It would have looked good with the elevons down sitting on it's wheels. The kit came with either option.
I really enjoy this Modelsvit kit and will definitely buy another one. They make several Mirages and some odd aircraft including the Assender.
