Nice modelling, Steve. Must have be a relief to work on something you don't need waldoes and an electron microscope to handle.

Thanks John. Yeah it'll be a while before I go to that level on a 1/350 scale plane. I'll stick to 1/72 for now.

OK, moving on. I started the 1/72 Airfix 109 flown by Werra and a 1/72 Modelsvit Argentinean Mirage III/EA.

The Airfix is of a typical newer mold quality. Nice but not overly detailed with huge panel lines.
I just need to mask and paint the white wingtips and rudder, then do a little touch, little weathering and gloss goat for decals. Leaving the gear and fiddly bits off till everything's painted, weathered and decaled.

I'm also working of the 1/72 Modelsvit Mirage III/EA. Nice detail and very nice kit so far. There are no alignment pins so a little fiddley to align. Completed the pit and engine exhaust section.

now, can you mash the two together? Nice work, as usual, on these. They look great.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
