An all nature metal Wildcat? That's something new to me, but I really have no knowledge on this aircraft. Wonder how the finished build looks like.
I see you also use the great panel line washes from Tamyia, very good stuff!

I like that one a lot. Nice to see something not in Navy blue occassionally.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I see lots of academy kits there :) some of them i build lots of years ago.
