Karis Projects 2020 - Part 1

How was the modelling year 2020 for me?
I will send out, hopefully even on daily base all the building projects that I, at least started, in year 2020.
Excluding the two recent Mustang projects that are still going strongly on and have their own topics in SPAM.

1st Project:
1:48 scale Fouga CM. 170 Magister by AMK
The year was about to start greatly. I have always liked this small French twin-engine fighter / trainer / attack aircraft from the 60's. It's elegancy and streamlined shape making it simply beautiful! My favorite!
AMK's excellent kit is truly a state-of-the-art kit, crispy details, wonderful fit & fully packed with a lot of options and goodies; PE parts, white metal parts, even a transparent fuselage halves to show off everything that can or is cramped inside it etc etc. On top of the kit, I invested also in some AM parts plus an extra decal sheet.
I came to the point in the build, that the next step would have simply been to close the fuselage and carry on. But, everything stopped, because of an unfortunate accident with Tamiya’s Extra Thin bottle falling over and soaking pretty much everything on the cutting mat. One of the victims was the tail fin of the Fouga.
A challenging task to fix it, as a lot of delicate & detailed (rised) rivets have totally been disintegrated.
The build is back in its original box, waiting for the right moment to be taken again out and hopefully finalized.
Let's see what next part brings!
