Good question. This a/c was a collaboration between me, VANCE and Fermis. Vance (eventually) made the custom decals and Fermis made the very rare canopy using his famousBlackSheep214 wrote:Manny -

smash moulding technique...all of it came together as Hairless Joe...might be the only accurate scale model in existence of this particular a/c... -

A couple questions for you Manny - why the blister canopy on this particular Thunderbolt? What was the purpose of them? To view the enemy a/c during a dogfight better? How many Thunderbolt were made with those type of canopies during WW2? The world wonders...
