An excellent and unique type of build we don't see everyday. How did you do the side blister on the canopy?

Re: Hairless Joe...
Good question. This a/c was a collaboration between me, VANCE and Fermis. Vance (eventually) made the custom decals and Fermis made the very rare canopy using his famous smash moulding technique...all of it came together as Hairless Joe...might be the only accurate scale model in existence of this particular a/c...BlackSheep214 wrote:Manny -

A couple questions for you Manny - why the blister canopy on this particular Thunderbolt? What was the purpose of them? To view the enemy a/c during a dogfight better? How many Thunderbolt were made with those type of canopies during WW2? The world wonders...

Re: Hairless Joe...
Based on my extensive and expensive research, seems the purpose was improved visibility and also seems that it was a field modification so there doesn't seem to be any stats on it...BlackSheep214 wrote:A couple questions for you Manny - why the blister canopy on this particular Thunderbolt?
