Thanks Paul !

Finally the horizontal stabiliser has been painted. It's always exciting, the moment before the first masking tape strip is removed..

I'm pretty ok with the result.
Some minor touch ups here and there is still needed + then oil wash and some weathering as well

Masking edges look good. There’s a slight issue at one corner, but sincerely fantastic work!

Thanks Bruce,
Yes, needs still some touch ups in the corners, as a matter of fact on both. :hmm:

I feel like I am in a candy store, just pick and choose a suitable stage of the build..

So next in the build process, the nozzles.

The instructions do not promise a pain free process, 7 pieces in total / nozzle

Image

So far almost every parts sprue gates have been ingeniously located, when it comes to the nozzle parts, here they were more "back to reality". Not bad, but needed some sanding to get the pieces to fit just perfectly.

Image

But when this was achieved, the entire nozzle, with 7 pieces was sturdy as a bronze statue!

Image

To secure the construction, only some drops of Tamiyas Extra Thin was needed in strategic places.

This kit keeps getting better and better all the time!

That is some fantastic detail. Tamiya did a good job on the spruegates
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

I don't think I would have trouble keeping the MOJO alive with that kit
