The Duke's Air Force Base

Post by Duke Maddog »

I've been taking some time to look through all these great Threads of everyone's work past and present. I'd like to post some of mine now here. So, step right up and board the bus for the next tour of the Duke's Air Force base.

This first stop is at the hanger where I have keep all my bombers and transports. We'll be able to see many of them here.

Sadly, I no longer have that aircraft. It was stolen from a display case at USC while it was on display as an exhibit honoring the 50th anniversary of the USAF. I have another kit in the stash to replace it; I should get started on it.

Okay, that was the first stop on our tour of my Air Force base. Next stop, the docks to see three of my seaplanes...

That's all I have currently docked here, so let's move on to the next hanger. This one will feature many of my current British jets. I'll get that tour done in another day or so. Meanwhile, enjoy the rest stop here on the base.

Thanks Medic. I was actually beginning to think my post wasn't showing up. Yeah, the Herc is one of my favorite aircraft so I've been building a lot of them. I think I even have one or two still in the stash to start.

Now I'll see what other aircraft I can add to this Thread....

Now I know you have a whole lot more of those things here my friend! More please... Oh yeah, you can never have too many C-130s... One of my favorite rides!
