I've been taking some time to look through all these great Threads of everyone's work past and present. I'd like to post some of mine now here. So, step right up and board the bus for the next tour of the Duke's Air Force base.
This first stop is at the hanger where I have keep all my bombers and transports. We'll be able to see many of them here.
British C-130 J Hercules, 1/72 scale, Italeri:
Russian An-12 Cub, 1/72 scale Roden:
USAF C-130A Hercules, 1/72 scale, MPC:
USAF C-130H Hercules, 1/72 scale Italeri:
USAAF C-75 Stratoliner, 1/72 scale Maquette:
British Handley Page Victor, 1/72 scale Matchbox:
British Avro Vulcan, 1/72 scale,, Airfix:
Russian Tu-22 Blinder, 1/72 scale ESCI:
USAF AC-130U Hercules Gunship: 1/72 scale Italeri:
USAF AC-119 Stinger Gunship, 1/72 scale, Testor's:
Russian Air Force Tu-16 Badger, 1/72 scale Trumpeter:
USAF C-119 Boxcar, 1/72 scale, Testor's:
And finally, my USAF B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, 1/72 scale, Testor's:
Sadly, I no longer have that aircraft. It was stolen from a display case at USC while it was on display as an exhibit honoring the 50th anniversary of the USAF. I have another kit in the stash to replace it; I should get started on it.
Okay, that was the first stop on our tour of my Air Force base. Next stop, the docks to see three of my seaplanes...

Re: The Duke's Air Force Base
Here at the Floatplane docks we have several aircraft to view...
British Supermarine Stranraer, 1/72 scale, Matchbox:
British PBY Catalina, 1/72 scale MPC:
USAF Hu16 Albatross, 1/72 scale, Monogram:
That's all I have currently docked here, so let's move on to the next hanger. This one will feature many of my current British jets. I'll get that tour done in another day or so. Meanwhile, enjoy the rest stop here on the base.

Re: The Duke's Air Force Base
Thanks Medic. I was actually beginning to think my post wasn't showing up. Yeah, the Herc is one of my favorite aircraft so I've been building a lot of them. I think I even have one or two still in the stash to start.
Now I'll see what other aircraft I can add to this Thread....

Wowser! I really like the floaters and the Hercs, and the .... well all of them.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
