I remember Blue Thunder. Never watched the show, but I did like the original movie that it was based on. I also remember the kit, or at least the Monogram 1/32 scale release. A Chinese company did a knock off clone of the molding at some point later on. The chopper was a modification of the Aerospatiale Gazelle, all tricked out to resemble the then current US helicopter gunships of 1982.

Remember when I mentioned the floatplane I held off and will come back later to buy it for $20? This is the kit:

Now I’m really kicking myself for holding off and come back for it later. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: That was an incredible price when I saw it. Lesson learned....

Yeah, I have learned the hard way that some deals you have to jump on when you see them by passing on too many of them myself… :headslap:

Somewhere around here I have an old picture of my dresser when I was about 13. I have the Blue Thunder in that pic

Wow, fantastic show! I love seen other shows and the work on display. I also love the Squad 51 paramedic truck; I always wanted one of those. Brilliant job on the Millennium Falcon flying out of the Death Star.

Yeah, I know how it is to pass by great deals. Unfortunately for me, I have to do it multiple times since I haven't got the income to take advnatage of them. Still, it's free to take pics and to judge at shows so that's what I do and love it too. :lashed:
