The black base is on. Next up is my first try with Akan paints on the big MiG.

Painted the underside blue with Akan paint. I chose no to go for full coverage but a bit more "marbled".

The upper colour is on. Again, quite extreme with the shading.

I have put the decals on. The arrows was quite difficult. Fortunately I have several HB MiG-3's in the stash so it wasn't a real problem that my first two attempts failed. Because I destroyed a few arrows before finding the solution. Which was to cut the decals before putting it on. And making a bigger hole then the one Hobbyboss would like you to make.

However, my nice inert gas pipe on the left side hinder the decal.

Also notice how not white the plane is compared to the pictures taken outside.
