This was the little HB Sabre I been playing with off and on most of the year - brush painted with Revell Aqua paints and washed with Flory Models 'Grime wash'. I quite like the flory washes and may well get some more.
in the end I didn't add the tanks as it's a borderline tail sitter and they caused it to sit on it's arse. It's also the reason I left off the rams for the airbrakes.
Overall its okay, nothing special but I'm glad to have got it completed.
Cheers.

Looks good. I know that kit very well and I know it is not as easy as it looks in the box. Some fitting issues...

Re: Hobbyboss 1/72 Sabre
That came out very sharp looking Stuart! Too bad that the drop tanks and speed brake pistons would make it a tail sitter.

Thanks All - glad you liked it!
Carlos - yeah it was a bit of a surprise given the amount of weight I added to nose! But I've never really liked the Sabre's tanks anyway so it wasn't much of a loss.
Yeah I was surprised actually, the fit of the undercarriage was appalling. Normally HB easy build kits are a lot easier.

Wow, magnificent! I built that very same bird, but I don't recall any issues with tail sitting. No worries, yours looks better anyway.

Well done mate.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.
