Nice rapid progress!
For those not familiar with the Raiden, it was a heavily armed, high power engine, rugged, interceptor. Everything that the Zero lacked was put into the Raiden. It just lacked that type’s fantastic aerobatic capabilities and very long range. In a skilled pilots hands, it could give as well as it took against the latest US Corsair, Hellcat, or Mustang that it would face over Japan in 1945.

Beautiful work John! That is looking exceptional already! I would love to read Sadaaki's wartime history! He sounds like quite the interesting character.

Thanks all. Sadaaki has quite the reputation for sure. I think somewhat exaggerated but makes a great story.
First try at hairspray chipping coming up
