Bandai it is, not perhaps the best looking X-Wing, but not that bad either.. But ordered now.. :-)

I love the design of those X-Wings! :wub: They look closer to the original Ralph McQuarry concept art of the first movie way back when. I just did not care for any of the Jar Jar Abrams/Disney trilogy films. :headbang: They made the prequel trilogy look much better… :giggles:

I'm with you, the Disney parody trilogy isn't any good, but they have done great work with Rogue one and the Mandalorian. My favorite has always been the clone wars era that the movies only touch on a bit.

I can’t believe how closely you matched ILM’s original painting. I hope you detailed all of your techniques in a build thread. This is fantastic mind bending 1/144 model building.

I’m with Clint on this one. I remember Fon Davis saying that the art department used Ralph’s paintings as gospel.
