And yes, here it is! Instead of waiting for x number of days if delivered by post, I jumped in the car and drove to my "local" hobby store Domino (1.5 hrs drive) and picked it up there.
Took a quick look on the content and it looks good, very good! !
If the kit is as good as Eduards Zero, this will be a joy to build!
And one can "read" from the sprues, that there is an armada of Wildcat variants to be expected.
Surprisingly there is absolutely no option to fold the wings.
Even the construction, sort of prohibits any easy fixes (that big support beam, see last pic)
The biggest challenge now is to decide which version to be built

Re: Kari's bench 2021 -->
There shouldn’t be a wing fold option on a F4F-3. Folding wings were introduced on the -4 variant, and carried over onto the follow on FM-1 & FM-2 versions. The F4F-3 was like the SBD and had a non folding wing.
That kit looks gorgeous!

Re: Kari's bench 2021 -->
Eduard is sure coming out with some bang up kits as of late. Hopefully they'll come out with a Dauntless at some point. Great looking kit Kari and a great score brother.
Re: Kari's bench 2021 -->
Thanks Joe and yes, a new tooled Dauntless would be highly desired !
