With the Sheriffs Department, the work week ran Sunday thru Saturday. I always liked to time my vacations with “cycle change”, where days off rotated. For vacation time, we were automatically put on the A 5/8 schedule sat/sun off for those weeks. Our work week is Saturday to Friday. But when we take a vacation week its Monday to Saturday
When we worked a 4/10 schedule, that would mean three extra days on each side, for almost one more week of not working… 
My other habit was to time my vacation for either just before or after my National Guard Annual Training.

When will the issues from this accident end? The beginning of September I received a letter from the Florida Highway Safety Commission. Telling me, unless I send in medical documentation, that my license is going to be revoked because of my 
"medical problem". So I send them 34 pages of documentation telling them I don't have a problem, that it was from the medicine I'm no longer taking. They sent me the letter stating they have approved my documentation. But.........they want me to retake my drivers test. Written and road test. Really the written too. So last Wednesday I did it all. Of course I passed. 
How many times have we all seen someone who can barely walk get in a car and drive away. But I have to go through this to prove I'm able to drive after my accident.
The other thing is I've been back on the road from the accident since January, why in September am I receiving all this?
Hopefully this is it. Back to my normal crazy life
