Toothpicks are a wonderful tool for such work!

Re: The Bench Of Doom
So here's a bit of a show report.
It was a huge show! The aircraft, armor and car guys came to play. There were two long rows of tables for those three categories. I don't remember seeing that many kits in this show. I didn't have a chance with the level of competition. My Viper didn't place but I wasn't expecting to.
I did judge for the first time. I did some of the aircraft sub-categories and it was a blast. Really tough to decide on what placed and what did. We also got to judge the "Best Aircraft" award as well.
One disappointment that I did have, while there were a lot of vendors, they seemed to have jacked up their prices. I get it on newer kits, but on kits that are not the best anymore, it didn't make sense. For example, there were a lot of Hasegawa F-4's and F/A-18 that were priced around the $60 when Meng, Kinetic and ZM have put out kits of those aircraft that are light years ahead. I only bought ONE kit at the show and that was a $15 Monogram F-106 with aftermarket decals included.

Cool video!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Re: The Bench Of Doom
That was by far the toughest competition in armor, cars and aircraft that I've ever seen at our show.

Re: The Bench Of Doom
Looks like a great show. Lots of competition overall.
