It's been awhile since I posted any updates. I've been working on a few parts ahead of time - cockpit and the landing struts.

The cockpits... front office. Seat harness are PE.

Rear cockpit...

Both offices...

The next series of photos are the landing struts with PE wiring. God, they are a biatch to do. All three took days to do since my last post.

Main struts with 1 PE wiring harness. Showing only one since both left & right sides are identical.

Nose strut... ThIs consists of gluing four different PE wiring.

And finally the wingtip AAM-3 air-to-air missiles. I chose to go with the Inert missile scheme over the boring all Grey live missile.

LOL @ Carlos.

Doing those wiring on those struts can make you go blind with insanity. But I did it.

It all starts with a little bit of wiring… then comes brass, foil, resin, and Evergreen styrene…

Nice! I'll use super glue, get the wires in place and then hit it with some insta-set.

Yup. My go-to super glue is usually Gorilla Super Glue. Insta-Set I don’t have. Nor I have black CA. Hoping this weekend, I’ll hit my local HobbyTown and see if they have any in stock. I’m pretty sure they have the accelerator for super glue.

Insta-set is your friend. Best addition to CA since CA
Thanks,

WOW, never heard of an F-2 :hmm: So it looks like Mitsubishi got hold of some F-16 plans and copied them, but got the scaling wrong on the photocopier?

Great start Tom, and sorry to hear about your back.

You’re adding some cool details there. It’ll be a sweet looking jet when done. Going to look forward to your paint job!
