Whew, that was close!Stikpusher wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 11:37 pmLol! Yup, you are saved! The production of G’s started in summer 1944 and the use of zimmerit was discontinued in late September ‘44 at the end of summer, so only the early production batches got the stuff. If your G has the mantlet with the extra armor on the chin, it definitely won’t have the zimmerit.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

These will be my last photos until it is completed…
Last detail items painted and flat coat on…
I still have to do final weathering and add some stowage items…

Well, I'm calling this tank done... final steps done today...
I'll get a proper multi angle bunch of "glamour shots" up tomorrow in the appropriate area... I'm still working on some figures for the open hatches.

Wow that's brilliant stik! Great looking build of that menacing tank. Really nice camo and extra details.
Thanks,

Beautiful work, Carlos. A fine example of a Panther that actually made it to its unit without burning itself to the ground. Great looking tank, terrible mechanical nightmare. Gorgeous!!
