Sure is John, probably one of their first recessed panel line jobs. Excellent for it's day, but 40 years later if you put it next to the Tamiya 1/72 version you scratch your head and say 'why am I doing this?' :hmm: Well, I guess I can answer why I'm doing this. I did not want to waste time with interior details and just wanted a nice basic shape to paint and decal.

Since this will be an in flight model, I had to paint the pilot. Fortunately the molded man in the box is quite well done for 1/72 -- I just wish he did not look like he belonged in a spitfire or a hurricane :hmm: Oh well, many US air crew used British flight gear I suppose...

Found out something new today as well.. If you strain your flat coat, you might strain out the flat particles, and end up with a gloss coat :bag:

Nicely done. I don't know about the new ejection seats, though.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

No, no, that's the new Pilot on a pole program - it's a pilot program...
