Lyle, Mike and Carlos!

Thank you all, sincerely. I have missed being amongst you on the forum. I have not even been able to truly connect with anyone until recently and even now I have been a bit on and off about reconnecting and what that means.

Like you I take building model kits seriously and part of that I feel is a responsibility to connect with others. It’s such a solitary pursuit for most of us and I secretly believe that it’s necessary for humans to have the kind of zen trance leading to an endorphin release which model kit building provides.

I like sanding seams. It keeps me sane.

My goal is to reacquaint myself with all active forum activities during that month of May. Your projects are at the top of my list - Duke’s too.

Finessing the two molding sink holes ie “dimples” by partly drilling them out. I’m hoping the additional hole will create a base plug type thingie for the CA fills!

Da brutal close up also reveals dee fill line of the CA. Okay, then. I’ll fix that shortly.

Post Script. I think I did it. I will look again tomorrow. It takes several fills to do this, but I think it’s done. I also smoothed out the rough area near that intercooler or whatever that molded box type thing is.

That is amazing work Bruce! Yes, slow and steady does it; that is how I made my huge An-124. I'm doing the same with my very large Bear and Badgers. You rock Bruce!
