Those are looking awesome and I really like the idea of the decal Heat blankets - those will work well!

So far so good on the decals. The big tail ones needed a lot of Mirco Sol to set down. About 60% through the first jet.

Nice and colorful! Although I gotta confess I prefer the early Hornet markings for that squadron when the atomic skull was on the outboard surfaces of the vertical stabilizers.

Thanks! I've always liked these markings and I have a framed pic when they were still flying the Legacy Hornet.

Well Hornet #1 is pretty much done other than the stencils, but those will wait till the end. If it gets too close to the show the stencils may not make it on there. The only exception will be the weapons.
