LOL.... he has broken.so many bones after every crazy stunt he's done during the 70s. I remember watching Evel Knevel TV Specials on TV. I even had the Evel Knevel stunt bike toy back then.

I do miss the 1970's... :hmm:

Hey Tom I had that as well - had a stand you put the bike on and wind it up and it would take off doing a wheelie. Awesome toy.

That Snake river jump was both awesome and a disappointment...
Thanks,
John

After gluing the canopy in place, yesterday I primed the exterior with Tamiya Liquid Surface Primer. Gray on the airframe, white on the wheel wells, intake, and drop tanks

Today I plan to start the base color painting…

Well, I’ve finally got the basic paint scheme on now. This is the scheme that I will be doing.

Image

I used Polly Scale Dirty White and Mr Hobby Mr Color Air Superiority Blue. Both are older bottles in my paints and gave me problems due to thickening with age.

I now need to do touch ups on the blue overspray on the dirty white areas…

I really like that prototype scheme, Carlos and have never seen that one before. 👍 Your replication looks spot on, but maybe a tad darker. :hmm: Of course, that photo was made in full sun light. I was disappointed on my Bf-109E-7 build when the clear acrylic darkened my colors so much. I need to remember that next time and compensate somewhat with lighter colors. That's gonna be one cool looking F-16! :shoutout:

That looks awesome Stik. Great scheme - I too haven't seen that before.
Thanks,
