Thanks, and I would love to hear about that visit. Are you going with a group or on your own. I know groups can have tours on the outside, but I am not sure if people on there own can go up top. Do you know if that's possible.

I will go on my own.

One weekend every month it is possible to enter the fort as an individual visitor.

Individual visitors

Withouth prior reservation, you can visit the fortress one weekend per month (March-November included), from 10 AM till 4 PM (register closes and departure last visit). Visits in English are organised throughout the entire day. The cafeteria and the underground barracks are opened.

25 and 26 April 2015
30 and 31 May 2015
20 and 21 June 2015
4, 5 and 21 July 2015
29 and 30 August 2015
26 and 27 September 2015
24 and 25 October 2015
28 and 29 November 2015

This has been on my to-do list for some time now, but to be honest, after following your great build I really want to see the place! :-)
