Hi Bruce,

I’m afraid I’m going to have to pull out of this GB - apologies to all.

Having made the unfortunate mistake of filling my wife’s Diesel car up last night with petrol, :headslap: :bang: I now find myself short of £700 :bag: and am in need of clawing back some money – so I listed all my stash and a good chunk of my 35mm Camera equipment yesterday – alas the A-Wing was the first to go.

Have a good GB all, may the Force be with you.

Cheers

Stuart

Oh man, that is terrible! Not the car, but having to hoc all your stuff to cover the repair... I feel for you.

We have all been there, Stuart, or at least I know I definitely have. You will get through this, and be able to move forward quickly from this moment. Right now attend to this important matter, but never forget you are a member of this fleet, this little ole group build fleet, so let's keep the lines of communication open. You never know when a stray A-Wing might lose its way over the skies of England and send out its call.... Good luck, Stuart.

And the Force is with you.

Always.

Thanks for the support Gents - bloody fool thing to do.

I had a chat with the bank today and sorted a few things out. Thankfully I'm now back into plus figures in my account. I still need to sell off some stuff though as I'm still going to be short (and we're going on our hols in three weeks...

Stuart,

How are you doing? Did you get your car fixed, and will you be staying with the SWGB (hopefully!)?

All the best!

Stuart, I feel your pain. Been there so many times. Hang on, keep a few kits to work out frustrations.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
