Ah yes, Tamiyawagram pre mottled paint, that stuff is the bees knees.

Yes, the arm does create drag but it fits in the space-Nazi-from-the-dark-side-of -the-moon theme. You have got to pick up those satillites with something.

I'm glad you are on my wave length. So many of "them" are not. I also have a bottle of striped paint.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

No progress to report, I have been preoccupied with several other (work related) issues. The first coat of grey is a bit "grainy" so it wil need some sanding and a second layers. Then masking and green for a wrap around splinter camoflage scheme.

Sorry to hear that, Borg. I'm going out August 1st. Hope you find something, soon.

Thanks! Fortunatly I am getting a couple of months worth from my (soon to be) ex-employer. And the Dutch welfare system is quit reasonable so I am getting some money from that. No need to put up the house for sale just yet.

Progress! Masking for the wrap around splinter camo. It is going to be green on grey.

Without the masking:

There is some build up of paint on some of the edges so I will sand that away. I use very little wash, only on the ailerons. Then decals, no swastika's because of backstory. I will keep that a secret until the build is finished.

OOoohhh looking good borg.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
