soooo, got started!!
the airfix kit is a wee bit bare on the inside, but thats nothing a bit of scraps cant fix!

here's the pit, all painted up


decal for the IP, of course?


some little gaps appeared during assembly, dunno if it was caused by my additions or were inherent in the kit. Either way, Im pressing on!!

tail assembly just did not want to join nicely. I used some thick superglue to help with the gaps.....

is that step supposed to be there??

lol - you watch you don't crash into any of that expensive artwork!
Looking good so far - I like your additions to the cockpit. What is the blue stuff you use? looks like Dyno Tape? It's a grand idea anyway.
