Actually that nose is still off.

But as soon as some diehard "fans" started calling it all "nosegate",,,,,,,I and others just shut up.

Most people are just gluing those parts together, and then drawing the correct angle in there with their paint jobs. (not fixing the droop at all) And then they just rescribe and paint the stabs in the correct place, without saying anything against their "favorite kit."

But, since it is not 1/72,,,,,,I just stopped caring. (got plenty of "nosegating" to do in my own scale,,,,but, that is what my razor saw is for)

There are plenty of other Windmills out there,,,,,,,and I am learning that saying the plastic is off doesn't mean that it will ever get changed.

Z-M actually surprised me this time.

I´ve got their F4-J. I am aware of comments on the shape of the fuselage some are posting on other sites. Really, I tried hard to "see" what they say should be off, but I can´t. Maybe it´s me and my aging eye-sight...

I know that hardly a company is as scrupulous in their research as are ZM, so I have trust in their kits. But your mileage my vary. Have you seen the work involved to get those HyperSonic parts onto the kit´s fuselage? For me, the fuselage shape must be much more off, if at all, before doing this surgery!

ZM´s F-4 kits are the best all over and out there. I am happy as is.

Looking at my completed ZM F 4J I find it hard to believe that all the work required to eliminate that little bulge is worth the effort. ZM supposedly had a team of their people crawling all over a museum F 4E measuring and photographing everything that could be measured or photographed. I have every confidence that when the kit is finally released it be right.

well, the test if going to be when you see their F-4E and put it next to your F-4J from them

As I already said, they wouldn't be changing that area unless they were sure they needed to.
