There were much debate in WW2 Japanese aircraft cockpit color; including wheel wells. I have both colors for IJN interior and aotake blue.

I've noticed that. To keep all happy (or none, who knows?), I painted the wells the Aotaki blue and the cockpit items green. I love this hobby.

Watch out, John... you got some serious competition on this Zero.
You’re not alone, Lyle. I’ve always been confused with what’s really the correct color for cockpit and wheel wells in all Japanese warbirds of WW2.

Mostly operator error, I’m sure. Port elevator has snapped off three times, rudder once, tailwheel strut (okay, that is a given)...and whatever shifted as I put the cockpit tub in has had repercussions in other areas.
I’ll wip it into some sort of shape.
