Yeah...the modeling world is a bit lacking in that department, isn't it?!
Kinda surprising...since most (or maybe it's just me?) hear "P-40" and think AVG.
I do like the beefier looking nose of the later models, but I really dig the "B" also. Very big part in the history of the P-40!

Wow,that would be fantastic if true !!

The Hasegawa and Hobbyboss both gave me a good whipping.would definitly try a Tamiya.I really enjoyed their vintage 1/32 kit

A lovely build Fermis - that's a sweet looking F-14!

A new P-40B in 1/48 would be really nice, Especially with a Desert Airforce Scheme provided. Given that Airfix popped out a nice 1/72 version, it would be nice of them to do a 1/48th one too - especially if it was as nice as thier 109E.

Apparently it was just a nasty rumor. There might be news later in November.
