I took my grandfather name of
Grandad mostly because of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Whiskey Rock n' Roller" in which
Old Grandad is mentioned. I liked the sound of it!

Can't say I remember a Skynyrd song mentioning Old Grandad... but im not any expert on their song catalog by any means... just know several of their tunes..
